The tilting rotary coating pan tumbles the core materials to be coated—such as tablets, pills, or candies—at a speed of 50 revolutions per minute. As the core materials cascade within the pan, coating syrup is applied (either manually or via a pump), while a built-in 500-watt heater simultaneously dries each layer of coating. Through this process of repeated layering, the desired sugar-coated shell is ultimately formed.
