Bottles are conveyed past a bottle-blocking cylinder that stops each bottle directly under the cutting head. A stepper motor drives the desiccant pouch feeding mechanism, pulling the continuous roll of pouches from the reel. A fine-adjustable (X/Z direction) color-mark sensor reads alignment marks on the pouch tape and controls feed distance precisely. An empty-pouch detection sensor verifies each pouch contains material before cutting. A redesigned cutter blade severs the pouch, which drops into the open bottle below. A closed-loop missed-pouch detection sensor verifies each bottle received its pouch. The conveyor advances; the next bottle takes position; the cycle repeats. Photoelectric sensors halt the line on missing or jammed bottles.
Introduction
Automatic desiccant inserter is a kind of equipment suitable for pharmaceutical, industrial, chemical, food and other industries, which can be used to insert desiccants. This machine can be used independently, or with other supporting equipment to form linkage production line, such as bottle unscrambler, tablet/capsule counting machine, capping machine, sealing and labeling machine, etc.
The bottle-blocking cylinder on the bottle-feeding track blocks the bottle conveyed from the previous equipment to the desiccant-filling position, waiting for filling, and the bottle mouth needs to be aligned with the cutting mechanism. The stepping motor drives the bag-feeding mechanism and pulls the desiccant bags out from the tray. The color sensor detects the desiccant bag and controls the bag length; the scissors cut the desiccant bag and load it into the bottle; the conveyor belt mechanism conveys the desiccant- filled bottles to the next equipment, and at the same time, the bottles waiting to be filled with desiccant are moved to the filling position.
