The drum is held inside a swinging rack supported by four wheels with axial blocks. Two of the support rollers are powered to rotate the drum. The swinging rack is driven by a crankshaft-and-connecting-rod mechanism on the frame, supported by bearings. The drum simultaneously rotates and swings, so material inside experiences rotation + tumble + axial reciprocation — achieving fast, uniform blending.
