Automatic Gummy Counting Machine
PLC candy-counting machine designed for accurate counting and downstream packaging of sticky soft candy, chocolate beans, hard candy, gummies, nuts, and similar food granules. A vibrating pan disperses incoming product into 16 lanes; photoelectric sensors capture each piece and report the count to a Siemens 1200 PLC with KTP1200 touchscreen HMI. The machine integrates a kick-out reject system for malformed pieces, a buffer system that prevents stockouts upstream, and a discharge-port vibration system that prevents adhesion or accumulation at the exit chutes.

1. Built specifically for sticky soft candy and gummies — most counters can’t handle the adhesion.
2. 16-lane parallel architecture turns the counting bottleneck into the slowest part of the bagger upstream.
3. Touchscreen recipe storage means an operator can swap SKUs without engineering help.
